Ripout is a cooperative horror FPS in which players use biomechanical Pet Guns to rip weaponry off enemies while exploring randomly generated space hulks. It's launching into Early Access on Steam today, and is currently in development for PS5, meaning PlayStation players will benefit from community feedback and testing by the time this violent egg is good and ready.
Delve into derelict ships alone or in small teams and contend with the genetically altered monstrosities that inhabit them. These nightmares are capable of grafting smaller mutants to themselves, strengthening or reconfiguring their physical forms as required. There are multiple classes, and weapons can be modified to suit any playstyle, ensuring players are ready for whatever lies in wait around the next corner.

Looks like it could be a really good laugh. I do like games that can be fun for an hours break here and there and this looks as though it could scratch that itch..
This looks amazing.
I’d consider it if it was a single player game.
@1:12 what you gona do about it?!
Looks fantastic visually but any 'horror' experience that's designed around co-op immediately dulls the hype for me. That means big changes to the gameplay loop and pacing/ scripted story beats usually... Playing co-op is just a huge "nahh" for me and playing alone as they suggest will likely leave you feeling like something's missing.
Maybe I'm being too cynical due to past experiences - count me intrigued but not sold.
3D Realms, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
I've had my eye on this for a LONG time. Glad to see some news on it! Looking forward to seeing a release date at some point.....
@extragood
3D Realms has had something of a major resurgence lately and have released some great games since their revival like Ghostrunner and Ion Fury.
@PegasusActual93 Right on, I didn't realize 3D Realms is associated with Ghostrunner. Great game, that one.
