@KratosMD I really liked Arkham Knight. It felt like a much more involved and interesting experience than the mediocre Arkham City. Good plot; the Joker bits were amazing; the Batmobile is insanely fun to use; it's arguably the best game in the series (while I generally prefer Asylum, I thought the final boss fight in that game was horrendous).
But I've come to terms with the fact that I'm basically alone on this.
@KratosMD I think a lot of it hinges on how you feel about the Batmobile. I quite liked its implementation in this game, but a lot of people didn't care to use it and felt like it was dragging down the experience.

@Ralizah Batmobile is definitely the make/break point. Apart from what I thought of the Batmobile controls, I just felt the car itself was out of place a lot of the time. In the comics the car is always pulled out for special occasions or as a last resort - at least not all the time. By driving in the mobile constantly, I just felt less like the brooding-on-a-rooftop Dark Knight.
But great to hear that it did push your buttons. Can't please every game.

Exciting News!!! 😃
So this is a follow up to my rant a couple days ago. In summary I’ve been playing Gravity Rush 2 lately and I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit. But I was really upset about the servers shutting down this month. With the servers set to shut down next week, Jan 18th, I have been cramming all my time in the game doing Dusty Token farming online to try to get enough tokens to get all the extras before the service goes away. Well, this just in .... they have extended the server conclusion date to July 18th! So happy about this. This means those who want to play have 6 months to play and experience the full game including the online features. If anyone was considering getting the game but hasn’t because of the termination of support, you may want to reconsider. It appears Sony has heard our complaints and is giving us a little added time with the online features.
I played Gravity Rush 2 all evening yesterday. Already finished the game, but I'm still trophy hunting. I did more than three hours of grinding to earn these precious gems.
After all the talk of Darks Souls I've jumped back into Dark Souls 3 to play the two expansions. Enjoying it so far and I haven't died so far which is always good.

@JohnnyShoulder This may be a dumb question, so forgive my ignorance, but do the Dark Souls games relate to one another in any way except gameplay? Like story, characters, settings, locations? More simply put, could I start with Dark Souls 3, having not played the first 2? I get the impression that they are each independent from one another, but I also fear that the combat style and way you approach the game is something you learn through playing the first entry so if I jump into it at #3 then I’ll just be lost of how to play these brutal games. I’m considering playing one of these this year and I think I’ll start with Bloodborne since it’s separate and more highly regarded. I’ll be frank, I did play some of DS1 and enjoyed it for the most part but after a couple hours I abandoned it for other endeavors. It got a little complicated and I just didn’t have the patience at the time.
@Th3solution there are some connections between the games, especially with 1 and 3. I don't think it will lessen the experience too much as i wasn't that hot on the story and lore when i played it and most things probs went over head unitl i read up about em.
In terms of gameplay, Dark Souls 3 is probs the more accessible of the games but i found Bloodborne a tad easier. I pretty much went through the whole game solo, but with DS3 i buddied up on a few of the bosses.

@YeYa@Doctor_BK I think I'm the only person whose favourite TT game is Game Of Thrones. People look at me like I'm crazy when I say it though... I just really liked the characters and thought the pacing was spot-on. Walking Dead S1 and Borderlands run it very close though, of course.
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
I'm about 15 hours into Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and am loving it! I played a bit of it when it first released on PS4 but I must've not paid too much attention to the tutorial because I kept dying repeatedly once the game really started. It turned me off of the game at the time but I decided to give it another go. Now I'm here at work on Monday wishing I was in Mordor instead. Can't wait to get back home to play some more!
@Gremio108 It's definitely underrated! I'd put at like fifth in my list behind TWD, Borderlands, Batman, and The Wolf Among Us, but I liked it better than Guardians, TWD season 2 and 3, and Minecraft. I hope it gets a season 2.
